SHIPPING PROCEDURES

1) We ship all orders via UPS GROUND service unless the weight and or volume of the order indicates GROUND FREIGHT in which case we will ship BEST WAY on most economical freight carrier. We DO NOT add freight markup to our orders with the exception of C.O.D. orders which are charged $7.95 for processing. All charges are based on rates quoted by the specified carrier using their current zone charts. Keep in mind that freight is F.O.B. and West Coast orders, oversized or heavy shipments may incur additional charges. We are committed to providing the very best rates possible and review prevailing rates of our carriers to stay current and offer the best pricing. We do not guarantee, however, the lowest rates available Nationally. Please call for exact shipping rates to your area or ask for the rate at time of order.


2) All general merchandise orders scheduled to deliver locally on our trucks must be received no later than 1:00pm the day before the shipment is due to ensure next day delivery status. There will be a $9.00 fuel surcharge for each order. Currently all web orders will be submitted as purchase orders. If your items will not be delivered via APS truck delivery, additional UPS ground shipping charges will be added based on the weight of your items. Next Day Delivery is based on availability. Items not in stock will be classified as BACK ORDERED and removed from your invoicing. These items will need to be reordered at a later date.


3) Bakery orders are prepared fresh at time of order. As such, please allow 48 hours for us to fill your order.


4) As part of our quality assurance program all packages are inspected prior to leaving our plant. You have the right to refuse a shipment if it is damaged. As standard operating procedure in these circumstances, damaged or missing goods should be reported immediately to the carrier and then to A.P.S. within 48 hours. If damage is detected after opening the package, please retain all packaging (inner & outer) and/or cartons as well as the damaged merchandise. Call our CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER @ (800) 320-6734.
